Role Summary
The Franchise Marketing Manager acts as the link between brand-level direction and local market execution. This role works directly with franchise partners to strengthen revenue, attract new clients, and build brand visibility through localized marketing planning, execution support, and performance ownership.
This is a blended role that combines strategy, coaching, and hands-on execution. The right candidate will balance partnership with structure while ensuring franchise marketing efforts stay aligned with company standards and business objectives.
What You Will Do
- Work with franchisees to understand their goals, local market conditions, and opportunities for growth.
- Build and monitor localized marketing plans that support the brand strategy and revenue targets.
- Offer ongoing coaching and guidance to franchise partners on priorities and campaign execution.
- Ensure franchisees stay aligned with agreed timelines, plans, and performance expectations.
- Act as the main marketing contact for assigned franchise locations.
- Support local marketing efforts across digital channels, partnerships, events, and community activations.
- Advise on budget distribution and channel mix to improve return on investment.
- Help plan and execute grand opening campaigns and local launch activities.
- Maintain consistency in brand voice, messaging, and standards across all local marketing work.
- Track important metrics such as new clients, lead generation, campaign results, and local engagement.
- Review performance data and turn findings into clear recommendations for improvement.
- Spot weaker-performing markets and work with franchise partners on recovery actions.
- Run marketing trainings, workshops, and webinars to strengthen franchisee capability.
- Develop scalable templates, tools, and resources that help franchisees succeed.
- Teach franchise partners how to use marketing platforms, systems, and best practices effectively.
- Coordinate with brand and national marketing teams so local efforts align with broader campaigns.
- Share feedback from the field to help shape national strategy and future initiatives.
- Support the rollout of national promotions and marketing programs across franchise locations.
Qualifications
The company prefers candidates with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related area. A minimum of 3 years of marketing experience is preferred, especially in franchise, retail, hospitality, or other multi-location businesses.
Applicants should understand local marketing, digital channels, and campaign execution, and have experience working with multiple stakeholders or client relationships. A data-oriented approach, strong communication skills, relationship-building ability, and excellent organization are important for success in this role.
Comfort with coaching while still maintaining accountability is essential. Familiarity with franchise business models is strongly preferred. This position requires working from the office Monday through Friday, along with periodic travel for grand openings and major events.
