Role overview
We are hiring an FP&A & Finance Manager for a fast-growing, technology-led company based in Frankfurt. The business is in an exciting expansion stage and is pursuing an ambitious buy-and-build strategy. In close collaboration with an experienced founding team, you will help build a scalable finance function and support the company through its next phase of growth. In addition to organic expansion, the role places strong emphasis on M&A activity, post-acquisition integration, and establishing professional finance processes.
Key responsibilities
- Design and continuously improve FP&A, controlling, and reporting frameworks.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and business cases.
- Create meaningful KPI dashboards and management reports.
- Own cash flow planning and liquidity management.
- Support M&A transactions and the financial integration of newly acquired entities.
- Work closely with banks, investors, auditors, and tax advisors.
- Enhance and digitize finance processes and systems.
- Act as a trusted finance partner to senior leadership on all financial topics.
- Support financing activities and develop decision-ready materials for management and investors.
Candidate profile
- A completed degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Economics, or a related field.
- Several years of professional experience in FP&A, finance, controlling, corporate finance, or finance transformation.
- Ideally, prior exposure to a rapidly growing company, scale-up, private equity environment, or buy-and-build setup.
- Strong command of budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and financial modelling.
- A structured, analytical, and entrepreneurial approach to work.
- A practical, hands-on mindset with genuine interest in shaping processes and structures.
- Fluent business-level German and English.
