About WYLE and the Role

WYLE is developing a personal operating system that deeply understands individual thinking patterns and acts on their behalf, automating mundane life tasks intelligently. This is more than a chatbot or assistant; it's an autonomous system that handles sensitive and critical actions with sophistication and privacy at its core, all while maintaining trust. Our Founder & CEO seeks a Founding CTO to co-own the technology and drive innovation at the highest level, challenging ideas and delivering impactful solutions.

Key Challenges

• Creating a dynamic human behavioral model that adapts over years despite changes in the individual.
• Designing autonomous agents that execute irreversible real-world actions involving personal finances, calendars, and relationships, where mistakes severely damage trust.
• Operating on highly sensitive user data while guaranteeing that the company cannot access this data.
• Deploying cutting-edge intelligence on controlled infrastructure efficiently and cost-effectively.

Candidate Profile

• Exceptional technical expertise with 15+ years of experience actively developing production-quality code, including within the last six months.
• Proven experience as a founder or among the initial core team in a successful startup, understanding the true costs and challenges of early-stage growth.
• Ability to comprehensively lead and integrate complex domains such as memory systems, agent architectures, and model inference personally rather than delegating.
• Experience managing and mentoring a small, senior technical team, setting standards through example.
• A commitment to hands-on technical involvement for the long term, prioritizing problem-solving over organizational hierarchy ambitions.

Who Should Not Apply

• Transformation or delivery managers focused on process metrics rather than technical depth.
• Consultants or agency technologists with broad but shallow exposure across multiple systems rather than deep commitment to one system.
• Anyone lacking recent hands-on coding experience or currently engaged in founding another venture.
• Candidates prioritizing titles over substance.

Compensation and Location

• This position offers equity-based compensation paired with below-market cash salaries initially, increasing with company capitalization.
• The role requires full-time on-site presence in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with no remote option.
