As a Founder’s Associate focused on Marketplaces, you will partner closely with senior leaders to strengthen and expand Gopuff’s marketplace business. This role is suited to someone who enjoys moving quickly, solving problems with data, and helping drive measurable commercial impact in a high-growth environment.

What you will do

  • Work alongside senior leadership to scale and improve the UK marketplace business through both strategic work and hands-on execution.
  • Take ownership of day-to-day performance and delivery across promotions, pricing, merchandising, and marketing on several marketplace platforms.
  • Track marketplace performance each day, identify commercial or operational issues quickly, and put practical fixes in place to improve growth, margin, and customer experience.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, forecasting tools, trackers, and weekly business review materials that strengthen operating discipline and inform decisions.
  • Carry out detailed analyses of promotions, pricing, customer behaviour, and overall business results to uncover opportunities and improve commercial efficiency.
  • Assist with partnership work by coordinating with marketplace partners, supporting negotiations, and helping improve shared business plans and investment decisions.
  • Contribute to profit and loss management by reviewing performance, monitoring return on investment, and supporting effective use of promotional and marketing spend.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Finance, Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to deliver growth initiatives and improve marketplace outcomes.

What we are looking for

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a startup, consulting, finance, e-commerce, or commercial role within a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive, action-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to turn data into clear recommendations quickly.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with experience influencing different stakeholders.
  • Background in strategic planning and preparing reporting for senior leadership.
  • Commercial understanding, including exposure to partnership management, negotiation, or growth-focused initiatives.
  • Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills, including forecasting, tracker building, and performance reporting.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle several priorities at once.
