Role Overview
The Former Owner role at KOULLS is a full-time, on-premises position headquartered in Nairobi County, Kenya. This leadership role entails offering strategic advice and maintaining institutional knowledge to support the company’s ongoing evolution. Key activities include guiding the company's vision, shaping long-term objectives, prioritizing operations, and ensuring that leadership decisions align with KOULLS’s mission and values. The role requires active collaboration with senior and management teams to evaluate performance metrics, appraise new business initiatives, and cultivate a culture based on innovation, responsibility, and sustainable growth. Additional duties include attending stakeholder engagements, mentoring team members, and promoting a thriving organizational environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in technology, software development, mobility services, or related fields with a strong grasp of AI-integrated products.
- Proven background in business leadership, ownership, or executive management with expertise in strategy formulation and organizational governance.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups, articulate ideas clearly to stakeholders, and offer well-founded guidance to leadership and employees.
- Competence in operations, financial oversight, or corporate governance, enabling data-driven decision facilitation.
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, adaptability in dynamic environments, and a strong commitment to ethical, inclusive, and sustainable business conduct.
- Insight into the mobility or hyperlocal service industries within African or international markets is advantageous.
- Formal education in business, technology, or analogous disciplines preferred, though substantial relevant professional experience is also acceptable.
