Role overview

Morrison Healthcare, part of Compass Healthcare, is looking to immediately hire Food Service Utility team members for both full-time and part-time schedules at UF Health Flagler Hospital in Saint Augustine, Florida. The role focuses on keeping kitchen areas clean, organized, and ready for safe food service operations.

Work location and schedule

This position is based at UF Health Flagler Hospital, 400 Health Park Boulevard, Saint Augustine, FL 32086. Only online applications are accepted. Schedules are flexible and may include full-time or part-time hours between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm, with days varying; additional details will be discussed during the interview.

What the job involves

The utility associate helps maintain sanitation, cleanliness, and order across kitchen and food prep spaces. The work supports the larger mission of serving patients, caregivers, and the community with care and quality.

• Clean floors by sweeping and mopping to meet sanitation and safety standards.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
• Collect waste and place it in the correct containers; clean garbage cans using steam or hoses when needed.
• Move supplies and equipment between storage areas and work zones.
• Help set up banquet tables and front-of-house service areas.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and delivery of supplies and products.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as required.
• Follow all stated sanitation and safety procedures.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

Experience and training

No prior experience is required for this role. The employer is willing to provide training.

Compensation and benefits

The pay range is $17.00 to $18.00 per hour. Eligible team members may receive a broad set of benefits, with some benefits available to both full-time and part-time employees and additional benefits available to full-time staff.
