About the Role
The Food & Consumables Team Associate position entails delivering outstanding customer service while embodying Walmart's core values. The role includes maintaining a well-organized and fully stocked food and consumables department to enhance the shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain product displays, shelves, tables, and storage areas ensuring all items are in their designated locations.
- Perform inventory rotation regularly to check for expired items and maintain product freshness.
- Accurately price and mark merchandise, ensuring proper signage is displayed.
- Strictly follow procedures related to cold chain management including thermometer calibration, temperature monitoring, food handling standards, product rotation, sell-by and expiry tracking.
- Execute correct processes for ordering, clearance, markdowns, labeling, tagging, and merchandising as per Walmart policies.
Compensation
The hourly wage starts at $16.90.
