Role Overview
The Floor Technician is tasked with maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of all communal and public spaces within the community, which includes areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms. This position entails comprehensive floor care and upkeep, covering a variety of flooring types including hard surfaces and carpets.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all public and shared areas are kept clean and visually appealing.
- Perform sweeping, mopping, buffing, and burnishing of floors.
- Strip and apply wax to floors according to maintenance schedules.
- Extract carpets effectively to remove dirt and stains.
- Contribute to creating a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
