Join our team as a Floor and Wall Tile Setter where you will be responsible for installing tiles with precision on various surfaces, ensuring aesthetic appeal and durability.

Key Responsibilities

• Use levels, squares, and straightedges to ensure tiles are aligned and straightened accurately.
• Plan and execute tile layouts to achieve desired patterns effectively.
• Cut and shape tiles to fit irregular spaces and obstacles using both manual and electric cutting tools.
• Finish tile joints meticulously and clean off excess grout with a damp sponge.
• Apply mortar to the back of tiles, position them, and secure them with pressure or tapping using trowel handles.
• Mix and spread materials such as plaster, concrete, mortar, cement, adhesives, or mastic to prepare a suitable bed for tile placement.
• Estimate costs and labor requirements by assessing project time and material needs.
• Measure and mark tile installation surfaces guided by blueprints or plans.
• Level concrete surfaces and allow proper drying before tile application.
• Construct underbeds and install necessary anchor bolts, wires, and brackets for secure fixtures.

Skills and Qualifications

This position demands a strong understanding of construction materials, proficiency in using hand and power tools, and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
