Job description

Role overview

The Fleet Sales Supervisor will guide the fleet sales function to deliver strong performance across volume, revenue, and profitability goals. The role serves corporate, government, and rental clients, with an emphasis on building lasting relationships, managing important accounts, supervising day-to-day sales work, and maintaining a high-quality customer journey from first contact through closure.

Team leadership and supervision

  • Lead, support, coach, and energize fleet sales executives so they consistently achieve and surpass targets.
  • Define performance objectives, review progress regularly, and share practical feedback for improvement.
  • Help with hiring, onboarding, and capability-building for new team members.

Sales and business growth

  • Expand fleet sales by spotting and developing opportunities in corporate, government, and institutional markets.
  • Strengthen existing relationships and build new connections with key accounts and major customers.
  • Oversee the creation of proposals, quotations, and tender submissions.
  • Follow up on leads promptly and convert opportunities into confirmed sales.

Account management

  • Handle strategic fleet accounts to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Respond to customer questions, manage escalations, and maintain strong satisfaction levels.
  • Work closely with aftersales and service teams to support customer requirements.

Operations and coordination

  • Partner with inventory, logistics, and finance teams to keep orders moving smoothly through delivery.
  • Track stock levels and align selling efforts with available inventory.
  • Ensure all activity follows company policies, pricing rules, and credit processes.

Reporting and performance tracking

  • Monitor sales metrics such as volumes, margins, and pipeline progress.
  • Prepare frequent reports covering forecasts, results, and market developments.
  • Share ideas and recommendations that can improve sales effectiveness and efficiency.

Market awareness

  • Keep up to date with competitor moves, pricing changes, and wider market trends.
  • Identify client needs and suggest improvements to products or services where appropriate.

Qualifications and experience

A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred. The role calls for 5 to 8 years of automotive sales experience, including at least 2 to 3 years in fleet or B2B sales. Previous experience leading a team or supervising others is strongly preferred.

Additional requirements

  • A valid driving licence is required.
  • Strong English communication skills are needed; Arabic is an advantage depending on the market.

Working conditions

  • The position is mainly office-based, with regular visits to clients.
  • Travel may be needed for meetings, tenders, and business development activities.

Success profile

The right candidate will be commercially driven, client-oriented, and comfortable balancing strategic account management with active team leadership. Success in this role requires initiative, resilience, and the ability to perform in a competitive sales environment.
