Job description
Role Overview
As a Fitness Manager, you will be accountable for the gym’s day-to-day fitness operations. The role centers on leading trainers, delivering a consistently strong member experience, improving personal training performance, and keeping the facility running to a high standard. You will also help foster a supportive, energetic environment for members and team members alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Stay in regular contact with the Format and Operations teams regarding training quality and personal training revenue performance.
- Track and work toward monthly targets across training PR, PT PR, PT session completion percentage, PT renewal percentage, PT SOP completion percentage, trial-to-pack conversion rate, lead generation, goal attainment, and overall PT revenue.
- Make sure personal trainers and general trainers follow all training and workflow SOPs, including leave and shift coordination when needed.
- Ensure the gym floor always has enough training support available so members receive safe and effective guidance.
- Help roll out new products and experience enhancements at the gym, while gathering feedback and observations from members and trainers.
- Take ownership of the proper functioning of all gym facilities and act promptly to support maintenance needs.
- Drive monthly personal training targets and make sure the required training outcomes are met.
- Deliver a high-quality personal training experience by maintaining benchmark PR, pack completion rates, and success achievement levels.
Qualifications
- Certification from an internationally recognized fitness body is required.
- At least 2 years of training delivery experience is needed.
- Strong motivation, communication, and interpersonal abilities are essential.
- An active CPR/AED certification is mandatory.
- Prior success in team management, along with basic administrative capability and working knowledge of Google Sheets and Google Docs, is required.
