Finishing Manager

Job Summary

MOBCO Group is looking for a seasoned Finishing Manager to take charge of all finishing and fit-out operations on a prestigious high-rise development in Riyadh. This role calls for deep hands-on experience in architectural finishes, interior fit-out execution, quality assurance, and end-to-end project delivery. The selected professional will be expected to deliver finishing works to an exceptional standard of workmanship, safety, and quality.

The role involves planning, coordinating, and overseeing all finishing activities while making sure work is aligned with project requirements, approved drawings, and the agreed schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all finishing and fit-out work packages across the project.
• Manage architectural finishing scopes such as flooring, wall treatments, ceilings, painting, joinery, cladding, and decorative features.
• Liaise with construction teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep finishing works moving efficiently.
• Examine shop drawings, material submissions, mock-ups, and finish details before work starts on site.
• Track site progress and confirm that finishing activities are delivered against project milestones.
• Carry out routine inspections to verify compliance with quality expectations and project specifications.
• Spot and address technical or construction issues that could affect finishing execution.
• Coordinate finishing works with MEP and other trades to prevent clashes and delays.
• Handle snagging, de-snagging, testing, and final handover activities.
• Allocate resources effectively and monitor productivity as well as subcontractor performance.
• Attend progress meetings and report project status to senior management.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Qualifications

The preferred candidate should hold a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, along with at least 15 years of experience in finishing, fit-out, and construction management. The background should include proven delivery of finishing works on high-rise buildings and solid familiarity with finishing materials, construction methods, and quality control practices.

Experience managing several finishing subcontractors and large on-site teams is required, as is the ability to read architectural drawings, specifications, and finishing schedules accurately. Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience on large residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use high-rise projects is preferred.
• Prior work with major contractors in Saudi Arabia or other GCC countries is an advantage.
• Knowledge of international quality standards and recognized finishing best practices is desirable.
• Saudi Council of Engineers registration is preferred.
• Immediate availability is strongly preferred.
