Finished Product Warehouse Issuing Manager

Job Overview

We are on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Finished Product Warehouse Issuing Manager to autonomously oversee the dispatch and issuing operations for finished goods at our manufacturing plant. This position entails comprehensive management of the issuing workflow—from planning and coordination with transportation, sales, and finance to inventory oversight and system record-keeping. The role requires leadership of a large dispatch team, commitment to process refinement, resolution of customer issues, and maintaining operational excellence in a demanding warehouse environment.

Primary Duties

• Oversee the entire finished goods issuing process including planning, coordination with transportation and sales, financial reconciliation, inventory control, and proper documentation.
• Lead the dispatch team by instituting a structured five-level issuing procedure.
• Provide training, supervision, and performance assessment for staff to maintain compliance with company standards.
• Take full responsibility for dispatch performance outcomes.
• Investigate customer complaints regarding dispatch issues such as errors, shortages, surplus, damage, and disorganization.
• Analyze root causes of complaints and formulate corrective action plans to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and record performance metrics including worker productivity and operational efficiency.
• Evaluate attendance, service quality, and other key factors to devise improvements.
• Organize daily dispatch activities including data gathering, inventory positioning, system alignments, and workflow management.
• Efficiently allocate dispatch resources to fulfill operational demands.
• Facilitate communication and coordination across internal departments such as planning, production, transportation, sales, finance, security, and human resources.
• Enforce dispatch safety protocols covering procedures, vehicle loading, accident management, and incident reporting.
• Implement safety standards to reduce workplace accidents and ensure adherence to policies.
• Maintain accident records and drive improvements in dispatch safety and effectiveness.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least three years of experience managing warehouse or logistics operations in large factories, manufacturing, or industrial settings.
• Proven track record in dispatch or outbound logistics management.
• Solid leadership skills with experience managing and motivating teams of 30 or more employees.
• Comprehensive understanding of factory logistics including planning, production, receiving, inventory, and dispatch procedures.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and warehouse management software.
• In-depth knowledge of inventory management across multiple locations and system reconciliations.
• Familiarity with various transportation modes like flatbed trucks, shipping containers, curtain-sided trucks, and specialized racking vehicles.
• Excellent interpersonal and coordination skills working with various departments internally and externally.
• Readiness to work extended shifts of up to 12 hours and flexibility to adapt to varying schedules.
