Position Overview and Responsibilities

We seek a detail-focused Pre-Production Coordinator specializing in diamond jewelry to join our team. The role requires close collaboration with the CAD design and sales teams to manage customer orders and ensure design requirements are precisely executed. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position that operates on US Eastern Standard Time (9 AM to 5 PM).

• Coordinate with the CAD team to prepare customer orders for design processes
• Work alongside sales personnel to gather and clarify design specifications
• Convert 2D sketches of rings into clear written CAD requirements
• Review and approve finalized CAD models for adherence to established design standards
• Provide constructive feedback to the CAD team to address any discrepancies in models
• Operate during US working hours (9am - 5pm EST)

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience in fine jewelry production
• Full professional proficiency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Capable of viewing and examining 3D model files for precision and accuracy
• Knowledgeable in fine jewelry terminology and design principles
• Ability to foresee potential manufacturing challenges by analyzing 3D models
• Skilled in interpreting sketches and ensuring correct 3D translations
• Experience working with Matrix and Rhino 3DM CAD software
• Understanding of jewelry construction methods and tolerance requirements
• Experience in bench jewelry making is beneficial
