Role overview
Parcel Perform is hiring a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join its Finance team in Singapore. This position reports to the Senior Financial Controller and works closely with teams across the company to provide timely and accurate financial reporting, planning, and analysis. The role has direct visibility with the CEO and requires someone who can own the work independently in a fast-moving global startup environment.
The company is looking for a strong individual contributor who can operate with high accountability and contribute at senior stakeholder level.
What you will do
- Own group-wide planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting, with exposure to the CEO, Board, and investors.
- Prepare and manage budgeting, profit and loss forecasting, and cash flow forecasting across all business functions on monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
- Build and present monthly, quarterly, and annual management and investor materials, including quarterly board presentations.
- Review actual performance against budgets and forecasts, investigate variances, and update financial models where needed.
- Assess the use of excess working capital by evaluating current assets and investments, measuring ROI, and recommending ways to improve cash flow efficiency.
- Spot opportunities to improve FP&A processes, including report creation, ad-hoc analysis, and enhancements to systems and tools.
- Support additional administrative work connected to financial and accounting reporting, and assist the wider Finance function when required.
What the company is looking for
- At least 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a fast-paced multinational company or a related industry.
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Data Science; professional qualifications such as CMA, CFA, or an MBA are an added advantage.
- Advanced skills in Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Slides, with a solid understanding of model design and formula efficiency.
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
- Excellent analytical ability, financial modeling capability, and presentation skills.
- Highly detail-oriented, self-driven, and committed to delivering accurate work on time.
- Strong ability to simplify and synthesize information clearly.
- Comfortable working as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
