Role Overview
We are partnering with a global client who seeks a Financial Controller to spearhead a comprehensive digital transformation agenda. Reporting directly to the CFO and collaborating closely with the CEO, this opportunity offers operational control within a stable environment. A key focus is developing an AI-native financial control function that elevates the organization's maturity and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of revenue data.
- Validate supplier commercial terms and offers.
- Oversee customer proposal financial assessments.
- Maintain compliance with sales bill of materials and contract financial governance, including decision records (CDWR).
- Manage invoicing, accounts receivable, and cash collection processes.
- Provide financial advisory to commercial teams managing business line profit and loss.
- Lead financial operations with an emphasis on AI-driven processes.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- 8 to 10+ years in financial control, commercial finance, or financial planning and analysis, including 2 to 3 years in senior or director-level roles.
- Background in managed services or IT consulting with strong understanding of recurring revenue models.
- Proven hands-on experience deploying AI agents, agentic workflows, robotic process automation (RPA), ERP workflow automation, and AI-powered analytics platforms within finance functions.
- Expertise with generative AI applications in financial operations is mandatory.
- In-depth knowledge of revenue recognition standards (IFRS 15), particularly with complex service contracts and bundled offerings.
- Proficiency in multi-system reconciliation across ERP, CRM, service management, and analytics platforms, along with data integrity governance.
- Experience managing commercial compliance, including supplier offer validation, customer financial modeling, pricing analysis, contract P&L modeling, and contract governance.
- Strong command of SAP modules FI/CO and SD/PS, alongside modern financial technology stacks.
- Experience within technology, digital, cloud, or managed services sectors, focusing on recurring revenue models with account-based P&L structures.
- Familiarity with the Saudi commercial environment, including VAT, GOSI, labor laws, and government procurement processes.
- Fluency in Arabic is highly preferred.
- Excellent written communication skills, capable of producing clear commercial offer documents, compliance matrices, contract exposure analyses, and pre-meeting certification materials.
Desirable Competencies
- Exposure to contract governance frameworks and financial exposure modeling, especially for multi-party agreements in government and energy sectors.
- Experience in regulated financial control sectors such as government, energy, banking, or large enterprises, with familiarity reporting to board audit committees.
- Track record working within matrix reporting structures where finance collaborates closely with commercial teams.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or SOCPA.
- Direct experience with generative AI, agentic workflows, or large language model (LLM) tools implemented within production finance environments.
