Are numbers more than just results for you? Do they serve as the foundation for crucial business decisions? Join LifeFit Group, the parent company behind Fitness First, one of Germany's most renowned fitness brands. As a Financial Controller, you will act as the vital link between Group Controlling and Group Accounting, ensuring that numbers are transformed into well-founded decisions. You will support management with meaningful analyses and play an active role in growth, financing, and M&A projects, significantly contributing to the advancement of Fitness First and the LifeFit Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive management reporting that enables well-informed business decisions.
  • Analyze profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow, and performance indicators to identify opportunities for business enhancement.
  • Actively participate in budgeting, forecasting, and medium-term planning, contributing to the financial steering of the group.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring smooth interface between management reporting and IFRS accounting.
  • Support investor reporting and assist in preparing presentations, roadshows, and financing projects.
  • Contribute to acquisitions, post-merger integrations, and other strategic financial initiatives.
  • Continuously improve reporting and finance processes while driving their digitalization.

Qualifications and Profile

  • Completed degree in economics or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of professional experience in controlling or corporate finance, ideally within a corporate group environment.
  • Strong knowledge of profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Jedox, LucaNet, or similar.
  • Experience or knowledge in investor relations, financing, or capital markets is advantageous.
  • Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style, with accountability and excellent communication skills coupled with strong teamwork spirit.

What We Offer

  • Strategic impact: Your analyses feed directly into decision-making at management and investor levels, influencing where numbers truly matter.
  • Variety: From M&A to investor reporting and digitalizing finance processes, no two days are the same.
  • Hybrid work model: Balance between remote work and in-office presence at our Frankfurt office for effective collaboration with the finance team.
  • Personal growth: Tailored training opportunities and support for additional qualifications like CFA, CIMA, or CMA.
  • Team and culture: A finance team characterized by flat hierarchies, open feedback, and genuine camaraderie.
  • Competitive compensation: Attractive salary package including company pension plan and corporate benefits.
  • Fitness perks: Access to Fitness First studios and exclusive employee offers across the LifeFit Group.
