Role overview
Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management helps high-net-worth individuals, families, and selected institutions such as foundations and endowments build well-rounded wealth plans. The team partners closely with clients to craft tailored strategies using the firm’s investment expertise, broad wealth-management solutions, and global footprint. The platform can include services such as tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning, and private banking and lending support.
What you will do
- Partner with Private Wealth Advisors to design and execute wealth-management solutions for PWM clients across Southeast Asia.
- Stay current on market movements and financial-news developments.
- Assess portfolio risk and return and help with portfolio rebalancing when needed.
- Process client orders and subscriptions across multiple asset classes.
- Create client and prospect presentations covering equity, fixed income, foreign exchange, and alternative investments as part of asset-allocation discussions.
- Perform research on both internal and external investment products, as well as trading opportunities.
- Work with product teams inside and outside the Investment Management Division to address client requirements.
- Communicate Goldman Sachs research and market perspective to Private Wealth Advisors and clients.
- Support day-to-day client servicing and broader team needs.
- Contribute to projects related to platform enhancement and other operational or process improvements.
Required profile
- Hands-on experience with foreign-exchange investment instruments.
- Comfort working in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment with clear thinking under tight deadlines.
- Strong interest in financial markets, along with sound commercial and investment judgment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and people skills, with a collaborative mindset.
- Strong analytical and organizational capability.
- Entrepreneurial approach and a creative, problem-solving mindset.
- High attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word, plus Bloomberg or Reuters.
