Financial Analyst

Role overview

WSP in the Middle East is looking for a Financial Analyst to join the finance team in Dubai/Sharjah. The role works closely with the Financial Consolidation Manager and broader Middle East finance stakeholders to assess business performance, combine budgets and forecasts, carry out variance analysis, and support key financial and commercial decisions.

What you will do

• Deliver analytical and consolidation support for WSP Middle East, including monthly management reporting across business units, countries, and entity-level performance.
• Identify the main factors influencing results, including risks and opportunities.
• Review major projects and consolidated KPI data for management reports and monthly/quarterly business packs.
• Help convert raw data into actionable business insights through improved tools and methods.
• Assist with budgeting and quarterly forecasting activities.
• Support balance sheet reviews for internal control, governance, and audit purposes.

What they are looking for

• CFA, CPA, or CA qualification, with 3 to 4 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis.
• Experience in professional services, consulting, or engineering is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to write clear reports.
• Good grounding in core financial analysis principles.
• Solid technical, analytical, and systems capability, with hands-on experience in Oracle, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with consolidation/reporting tools such as Hyperion.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Well-organized with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
