Financial Analyst

About the Role

Barden is excited to assist their client in recruiting a Finance Analyst to join their expanding team. This position has been newly created to support the company's growth and will involve close collaboration with senior leadership to influence strategic decisions. Ideal candidates will be finance professionals with a strong commercial mindset who enjoy partnering with business stakeholders and translating financial data into actionable business insights.

• Develop and sustain detailed financial models that inform strategic business choices.
• Conduct scenario planning, assess investment opportunities, and forecast cash flow.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial planning initiatives throughout the company.
• Generate monthly and quarterly management reports, delivering clear commercial insights.
• Evaluate financial performance metrics, including margin and variance analysis, to guide management decisions.
• Create dashboards and reporting tools to enhance the visibility of crucial business indicators.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to support commercial projects and improve business processes.
• Participate in special projects as the organisation undergoes continued development.

Candidate Profile

• Professional qualification in ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
• Previous experience in roles such as Finance Analyst, Commercial Finance, FP&A, or related analytical finance positions.
• Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Work-in-progress (WIP) analysis experience is a valuable asset.
• Advanced capabilities in Excel are mandatory.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving talents with the ability to present financial information understandably to non-finance personnel.
• Self-motivated, commercially minded, and enthusiastic to contribute within a dynamic and rapidly expanding company.
