Job description
Role Summary
The Financial Analyst will be instrumental in FP&A activities, financial modeling, and managing the data room. This role involves aligning accounting actuals with future projections to aid strategic decision-making within a dynamic setting.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and monthly FP&A reporting for revenue and profit margins.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models based on key drivers and conduct scenario analyses.
- Reconcile forecasts and budgets against actual performance, providing clear explanations for variances and identifying critical business drivers.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure alignment between management reports and general ledger/financial statements.
- Maintain and organize the finance data room, including models, forecasts, KPIs, and supporting documents for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with broader finance operations, such as preparing and managing documentation for payment processors, banking partners, investors, financial systems, and other program management initiatives.
Short Requirements
- Possess a degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a closely related discipline.
- Have 2 to 5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a comparable analytical position, with a preference for experience in the peptide industry.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in financial modeling using Excel/Sheets and a solid grasp of accounting principles and financial statements.
