Job Overview
The Finance Executive role involves supporting the financial operations and ensuring accurate accounting processes within the company. Key duties include managing invoices using ERP for both local and international subsidiaries, maintaining accounts receivable records, and preparing payment vouchers according to predetermined cycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage invoices through the ERP system for domestic and overseas subsidiaries.
- Ensure accounts receivable receipts are recorded promptly and accurately.
- Prepare payment vouchers aligned with payment schedules.
- Maintain up-to-date accounts payable aging reports.
- Verify and process staff reimbursement claims carefully.
- Review vendor Statements of Account to avoid missing invoices.
- Assist with month-end closing activities like general ledger entries, accruals, and prepayments.
- Document and record all financial transactions precisely.
- Oversee and audit the property assets and capital maintenance.
- Manage quarterly Goods and Services Tax (GST) filing for Singapore entities and Sales and Service Tax (SST) filing for overseas entities.
- Collaborate with subsidiaries, auditors, tax agents, and vendors to ensure compliance with local accounting standards and statutory tax regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience handling full sets of accounts including financial consolidation.
- Competency in analyzing financial statements with the ability to detect inaccuracies in financial reporting.
