Job Overview

This position involves providing expert leadership to project teams, engaging in cross-functional projects, and driving process enhancements and policy formulation. The role partners closely with business executives to shape strategic decisions and executes sophisticated financial analyses to meet organizational goals efficiently. It primarily functions as a Financial and Control & Compliance Analyst with a worldwide focus on Contra Revenue Processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and advise functional project teams while engaging in cross-departmental initiatives.
  • Offer expert guidance for process enhancements and policy development.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to influence broad strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct complex financial analyses applying deep business insight.
  • Oversee business projects and manage analysts across various finance sub-functions.
  • Prepare financial forecasts over a wide scope and identify opportunities for process and policy improvements, participating actively in their design and rollout.
  • Represent the business unit in cross-regional and cross-functional planning activities.
  • Serve as the organization's representative to external clients and customers.
  • Utilize advanced subject matter knowledge to lead complex projects and employ independent judgment in resolving business challenges and forming policies.
  • Build and nurture collaborative internal and external relationships, offering mentorship to junior employees.
  • Perform monthly audits related to contra revenue processes.

Educational Background and Experience

  • A four-year degree or graduation in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field; equivalent professional experience or demonstrated expertise is acceptable.
  • Generally requires 7 to 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial management, internal auditing, accounting, or a similar domain.

Certifications Preferred

  • Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Certified Financial Analyst (CFA)

Knowledge and Skills

  • Proficiency in Accounting and Auditing standards.
  • Experience with Automation technologies and SAP applications.
  • Strong foundation in Corporate Finance, Financial Modeling, Planning, and Analysis.
  • Understanding of Financial Statements, GAAP, Internal Controls, and Investments.
  • Ability to measure and report using KPIs and conduct Variance and Profit & Loss management.
  • Expertise in Process Improvement strategies.
