Field Sales Executive

About the Roles

We are hiring for positions in the fintech sales domain at Airtel Payments Bank based in Chandigarh. There are two key roles available: Team Leader and Merchant Executive. Both roles focus on expanding merchant partnerships through field sales and digital payment solutions.

Team Leader Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 12 Merchant Executives.
• Allocate daily market territories and set sales goals.
• Monitor merchant onboarding and ensure account activations.
• Provide training on QR code and Sound Box sales techniques.
• Ensure effective field visits and maximize team productivity.
• Support team members with challenging merchant deals.
• Submit daily performance reports to management.

Merchant Executive Responsibilities

• Visit various merchants such as shops, restaurants, and pharmacies to promote Airtel Payment Bank's Sound Box and QR solutions.
• Persuade merchants to adopt digital payment systems.
• Facilitate merchant KYC completion and onboarding process.
• Activate merchant accounts and sustain good relationships with clients.
• Meet daily and monthly sales targets related to Sound Box activations.

Requirements

• For Team Leader: 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience with strong field sales and leadership skills.
• For Merchant Executive: Minimum 1 year experience; fintech background preferred.
• Good communication, negotiation skills, and familiarity with digital payment platforms.
• Driven by targets and able to motivate a sales team (Team Leader).

Compensation & Incentives

• Team Leader salary up to ₹26,000 in hand plus incentives up to ₹12,000 based on target achievement.
• Merchant Executive salary up to ₹16,000 in hand with uncapped incentives.
