Vetgo is a contemporary veterinary service that combines mobile and virtual care to make pet treatment more convenient and compassionate. The team supports pet families through medication drop-offs, field assistance for veterinarians, and participation in community outreach activities, with the goal of making veterinary care easier to access and less stressful.
Role overview
The Field Operations Specialist helps keep mobile veterinary operations running efficiently. This is a practical, fast-moving position with a mix of delivery work, inventory handling, in-field support, event participation, and brand/community outreach. It suits someone who enjoys variety, likes working with animals, and feels comfortable interacting with people in the community.
Key responsibilities
- Transport medications and pet care items to clients.
- Support veterinarians during house calls, including helping restrain animals safely when needed.
- Keep the mobile field kit clean, orderly, and fully stocked with required supplies.
- Monitor medication and supply inventory and maintain accurate records.
- Pack, replenish, and organize kits for field assignments.
- Arrange reorders and keep storage areas neat and well organized.
- Represent the company at local events by setting up booths and engaging with attendees.
- Hand out flyers, postcards, and other marketing materials.
- Volunteer from time to time at rescue shelters or humane societies to help with outreach and relationship building.
- Produce social content using your own pets or volunteer experiences.
- Record behind-the-scenes field moments when client permission has been obtained.
- Work with the marketing team on ideas and campaign support.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate is comfortable using smartphones, apps, and social media, and is either experienced with animals or enthusiastic about learning. The role calls for someone who is dependable, personable, well organized, and able to work actively throughout the day. Physical stamina is important, including the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. A valid G-Class driver’s license and regular access to a dependable vehicle are required.
