Park Paving Ltd. is a locally owned and managed business that has operated for more than 50 years and is recognized as one of Edmonton’s major road construction contractors.

Role Overview

The team is looking for a temporary Field Maintenance Coordinator to help keep day-to-day maintenance activities running smoothly. The assignment is intended to cover current workload and provide backup support, with the possibility of turning into a permanent role depending on business requirements. The position is based primarily from the Maintenance Shop in Sherwood Park, Alberta.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize reports related to service scheduling.
• Prepare work orders and send them to the appropriate teams.
• Monitor repair progress and outstanding backlog items.
• Arrange and coordinate parts needed for field operations.
• Check on incomplete work orders and ensure follow-up is completed.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance coordination or a similar position.
• Working knowledge of heavy equipment used in road construction, including skid steers, excavators, and paving equipment.
• Well-developed communication and organizational abilities.
• Understanding of construction safety rules and compliance requirements.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and stay organized in a busy environment.
• Experience keeping track of work orders, parts, and service schedules with accuracy.
• Background in maintenance or fleet operations is an advantage.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
