Role Overview
This position is focused on creating a dining experience that feels memorable, personal, and lively rather than simply delivering food to the table. The service expert supports guests throughout the meal with attentive, proactive service and helps turn each transaction into part of the overall experience.
Key Duties
- Prepare tables and dining areas for service.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to keep service running smoothly.
- Interact with guests and provide food and beverage service.
- Handle cleaning tasks for work areas and service supplies.
- Contribute to a guest experience that is distinctive and consistent.
- Carry out other reasonable duties as assigned.
Work Standards and Physical Expectations
This role requires a strong focus on safety, policy compliance, quality standards, and professional presentation. The associate must maintain a neat uniform, polished personal appearance, and professional communication at all times.
The job also involves extended periods of standing, sitting, and walking, including movement across sloped, uneven, or slippery surfaces. The role requires reading and checking menu details carefully, and performing physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, stooping, and moving items weighing up to 25 pounds without help or up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Qualifications
Preferred education is a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Prior related work experience of less than one year is preferred. No supervisory background is required, and no license or certification is needed.
