About A7 Magazine

Established in July 2026, A7 Magazine is a digital publication focusing on fashion, art, and culture with roots in the MENA region while maintaining a global outlook. As the magazine grows, we seek a skilled Arabic Fashion Editor to develop and steer our Arabic editorial voice in fashion and cultural spheres.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for fashion, culture, and storytelling, eager to contribute to a dynamic independent publication. Collaborating closely with the Managing Editor and Creative Director, this role involves shaping the tone of voice and crafting compelling editorial content covering fashion and a broad range of cultural topics. Collaboration is key within our small international team.

Responsibilities

• Create original editorial features, news articles, and interviews in Arabic.
• Contribute to establishing and evolving the Arabic editorial voice of A7 Magazine.
• Pitch and develop timely story ideas related to fashion, luxury, beauty, art, design, and culture.
• Translate and adapt select English content into natural, engaging Arabic as needed.
• Collaborate with the editorial team to plan and produce weekly content releases.
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in global fashion, cultural trends, and industry news.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrates a passion for fashion and culture, with an in-depth understanding of the MENA cultural scene, including brands and emerging talents.
• Prior experience in editorial, journalism, publishing, or fashion writing is preferred.
• Proactive and able to work independently as a self-starter.
• Brings innovative ideas and enthusiasm for contributing to a new publication's growth.
• Possesses excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable collaborating within an international team remotely.
