Role Overview

Based in New York, NY, the Fashion Closet Assistant is part of the Global Fashion Network and provides hands-on operational support for editorial shoots. The role focuses on the daily upkeep of the fashion closet, including inventory check-ins, trunk packing, messenger scheduling, carnets, and return coordination. Support may also include sample requests and on-set assistance when needed. The position covers ready-to-wear, accessories, and jewelry, with the goal of keeping the fashion closet organized, efficient, and ready for fast-paced production needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out detailed sample check-ins and record inventory accurately.
  • Pack trunks quickly and neatly while working closely with Fashion Assistants.
  • Coordinate with courier partners to arrange shipping labels and communicate pickup and delivery timings clearly.
  • Respond promptly to questions related to logistics and returns.
  • Partner with the Returns team on transfers and priority returns.
  • Work with the jewelry team to manage jewelry returns.
  • Collaborate with Condé Nast logistics on sending trunks and samples to shoots.
  • Keep the fashion closet orderly and running smoothly.
  • Support stylists during fittings and on set when required.
  • Build and preserve strong working relationships with fashion brand PR contacts.
  • Act as a dependable communication point for brands and ensure messages are professional and clear.

Compensation
