Role overview
Center Parcs is seeking a Family Activities Assistant Manager at Longford Forest in Ballymahon, County Longford. This position is focused on creating memorable family experiences by delivering a lively, safe, and well-run activities programme for guests of all ages. The annual pay is approximately €35,800.
What you will do
- Design and run a broad mix of enjoyable and inclusive activities suitable for children and adults.
- Make sure each session is delivered smoothly, safely, and to a consistently high standard.
- Support seasonal events and help improve the ongoing activities programme.
- Help build a positive team culture and contribute to strong overall performance.
- Welcome guests confidently, encourage participation, and foster an upbeat atmosphere.
Working pattern
This is a full-time, fully flexible role. The contract guarantees at least 150 hours across each 4-week period, with additional hours possible depending on business needs. Work may include early starts, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Sunday hours attract a premium rate of pay.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate will be organised, confident, and people-focused, with the ability to lead activities and support a team. You should bring strong planning and supervisory ability, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good IT confidence, and a track record of providing excellent customer care. A friendly, creative, and enthusiastic approach is important, along with the ability to connect well with people at all levels.
Additional information
A Garda vetting check is required before you begin work, and support will be provided with that process.
Our values and inclusion commitment
Center Parcs says its colleagues help build better worlds for guests, coworkers, communities, and the environment. The company highlights four values: caring, bravery, determination, and authenticity. It also states that all applicants are welcome and that it is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Recruitment is based on behaviours rather than prioritising qualifications or experience. Reasonable support or adjustments can be requested during the application or interview stages.
Application note
Interviews are already taking place. The closing date is 25 June 2026, but the vacancy may be closed earlier once enough applications have been received, so early application is encouraged.
