Job description

Role Overview

The position involves overseeing the entire student journey and curriculum delivery for Medical Laboratory Technology programmes at Max Healthcare's Lucknow centre. Responsibilities include managing the learning environment, ensuring adherence to schedules, conducting examinations, updating educational content, and monitoring student performance for the Radiology programme. The candidate will report to the Centre Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of BMLT and DMLT courses at the centre.
  • Prepare and present lectures aligned with the prescribed syllabus.
  • Deliver the complete curriculum content effectively.
  • Organize theory lessons, internal exams, projects, lab sessions, and clinical postings as scheduled.
  • Promote student engagement and ensure their success throughout the course.
  • Evaluate and mentor students' academic development regularly.
  • Stay informed on the latest radiology industry trends and refresh course materials accordingly.
  • Create and update course resources such as presentations, assignments, project guidelines, handouts, question papers, and sample question banks.
  • Collaborate with fellow faculty members to resolve instructional challenges and enhance the learning experience.
  • Maintain detailed records of student attendance, grades, and other documentation as required.
  • Support student enrollment, registration, placement processes, fee collection, and conduct counselling sessions.
  • Monitor student absenteeism and dropout rates, implementing measures to minimize them.
  • Adhere to Max Healthcare’s Education Policy regarding minimum student attendance.
  • Utilize diverse teaching methods for both online and offline class delivery.
  • Develop and adjust teaching plans and content for clarity and effective understanding.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant field experience, with preferably 2 to 3 years in teaching within the education sector.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to cultivate a positive learning environment and innovate instructional strategies.
  • Adept at analyzing individual student strengths and weaknesses through logical assessment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Thorough understanding of skills and knowledge required to train students in Medical Imaging and Radiology Technology.
  • Strong work ethics complemented by a flexible and optimistic approach.
  • Fluency in both English and Hindi languages.

Eligibility

Candidates must hold a B.Sc or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT).
