About Samarpan and the Role
Samarpan runs India's only CARF-accredited rehabilitation center located in Mulshi, Pune, as well as a mental health counseling facility in Mumbai. Supported by the 65+ year legacy of the Baldota Group, Samarpan delivers a compassionate, science-driven continuum of care through therapy, psychiatry, group programs, outpatient services, support groups, and long-term rehabilitation. The leadership team includes professionals trained at top institutions such as AIIMS, NIMHANS, Manipal University, and the NHS (UK).
This position requires a dynamic, detail-focused Facility Manager to oversee comprehensive operations of the residential center. The role is pivotal to ensuring smooth facility management, superior client experience, and alignment with therapeutic services. Location for this role is Pune (Mulshi), Maharashtra.
Key Responsibilities
- Orchestrate daily operational activities for uninterrupted center functions.
- Uphold exemplary standards in housekeeping, maintenance, hygiene, and safety.
- Perform regular facility inspections ensuring no disruption in services.
- Lead and manage teams including housekeeping, security, and food & beverage.
- Coordinate with external vendors such as maintenance, pest control, and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC).
- Guarantee high-quality services aligned with set Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate with leadership and finance units to manage budgets and exert cost controls.
- Monitor expenditure and optimize the use of resources efficiently.
- Oversee vendor billing verification and manage operational costs prudently.
- Create a safe, clean, and hospitable environment enhancing client satisfaction.
- Proactively handle client concerns to maintain high service excellence.
- Ensure facility operations are well synchronized with therapeutic care programs.
- Adhere to all regulatory and accreditation compliances and standards.
- Implement and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain documentation for audits.
- Coordinate with clinical, medical, and administrative teams effectively.
- Manage administrative tasks such as admissions, billing, discharges, and bed allocations.
- Conduct regular team meetings focused on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Graduate or postgraduate degree, preferably in Hospital Administration.
- Over 8 years of experience, ideally in healthcare or rehabilitation facility operations.
- Demonstrated leadership with strong team management capabilities.
- Sound knowledge of financial management and operational procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and standard operational systems.
- High attention to detail along with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proactive and process-driven approach with ability to execute efficiently.
