Job description
Role Summary
As a Facilities Technician, you will deliver fundamental handyman services and handle technical troubleshooting for mechanical and electrical systems while ensuring exceptional client service experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inspections and assessments of the facility to verify compliance with building procedures and standards, including recording water and electricity meter readings.
- Maintain premises in clean and fully functional condition.
- Regularly check all critical equipment ensuring optimal operation.
- Lead monthly Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) joint inspections with site personnel to identify and rectify any safety or compliance issues.
- Manage office key inventories ensuring all keys are accounted for and in proper condition.
- Perform daily ambient temperature monitoring and adjust settings as required by site needs.
- Escort vendors responsible for deliveries, maintenance, preventive care, and reactive services within the facility.
- Execute basic electrical tasks such as resetting power trips and minor repairs or replacements of power switches, lighting fixtures, and tubes.
- Carry out simple plumbing duties including clearing blockages, fixing leaks, and replacing faucets and bidets in washrooms.
- Perform routine inspection and maintenance of fan coil units (FCUs).
- Maintain the premises’ aesthetic by performing touch-ups and repairs as necessary.
- Support office moves, additions, and furniture rearrangements as requested.
- Replace defective locksets on pedestals, cabinets, and cupboards.
- Ensure smooth operation of doors through repairs on hinges, stoppers, and locks.
- Assist with setup for meetings, events, and seasonal decorations, including poster management.
- Keep track of inventory for supplies and tools, ensuring proper stock levels.
- Respond promptly to fault reports and emergency escalations.
- Complete any additional duties assigned.
Work Environment and Additional Information
This is a full-time onsite position based in Singapore requiring physical presence to manage and maintain facility operations effectively.
