Stella Stays is shaping a new approach to hospitality by creating tech-enabled, thoughtfully designed living spaces for short and medium stays. Since launching in 2019, the company has grown quickly across MENA with fully furnished homes that can be booked online, are ready for immediate move-in, and include high-speed WiFi along with premium amenities. Role Overview

The company is seeking a meticulous Facilities/Housekeeping Specialist to oversee unit condition and standards. The role focuses on checking that each property meets expectations for cleanliness, amenities, upkeep, and presentation, while also driving follow-up actions, preventive maintenance, and reporting to head office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine inspections of units to confirm cleanliness, functionality, and overall presentation meet company standards.
  • Check that all required amenities are available, properly stocked, and in usable condition.
  • Watch for wear-and-tear issues and help ensure preventive maintenance is completed to protect quality and extend unit life.
  • Spot maintenance or housekeeping concerns and coordinate with the right teams to fix them quickly.
  • Own assigned issues by resolving them directly where possible or escalating them to the correct department when needed.
  • Track corrective actions through to completion and make sure they are finished on time and effectively.
  • Prepare detailed inspection documentation with photos, notes, observed issues, resolutions, and unit status.
  • Send regular reports to head office with practical observations and improvement recommendations.
  • Work closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and operations teams to maintain consistent standards.
  • Check adherence to company rules and procedures related to cleanliness, safety, and aesthetics.
  • Keep up to date with Stella Stays standards and make sure all units reflect brand expectations.

Requirements

  • Background in housekeeping, facilities management, or a closely related position, ideally within hospitality.
  • Strong eye for detail and a clear commitment to quality.
  • Working knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and related tools.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills.
  • Comfort using reporting tools and basic software applications.
  • Willingness to travel between units and work different schedules when required.
