Fabrication Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Fabrication Engineer to oversee and execute structural fabrication and erection projects, including tank, vessel, and piping work, at our Ahmedabad site. This position requires strong technical knowledge combined with leadership and client management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise fabrication and erection activities relating to structural components and piping systems.
• Manage tank and vessel fabrication work ensuring compliance with standards.
• Interpret and work from AutoCAD drawings and technical schematics.
• Accurately read and assess engineering drawings to determine project requirements.
• Calculate quantities and measurements for materials and project scope.
• Lead and coordinate manpower on-site to maintain smooth execution.
• Act as liaison for client coordination, ensuring project expectations are met.
• Manage site execution tasks effectively, maintaining schedule and quality standards.

Skills and Experience Required

• Practical experience in structural fabrication and erection processes.
• Expertise in tank, vessel, and piping fabrication work.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software and drawing interpretation.
• Strong skills in quantity surveying and measurements.
• Experience managing teams and coordinating site activities.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with clients.

Compensation

The position offers a monthly remuneration between 25000 to 30000 INR.
