About the role
The Anglers Rest is looking for a seasoned waitstaff professional to become part of its front-of-house team in Dublin.
Role overview
This position focuses on delivering warm, attentive service across the restaurant and bar while helping maintain a polished guest experience from arrival to departure.
Key responsibilities
- Provide welcoming, courteous, and efficient service to every guest.
- Greet and acknowledge guests promptly as they arrive in the restaurant and bar.
- Build strong knowledge of menu items, wines, hot and cold drinks, and desserts.
- Serve food and beverage items efficiently and in line with presentation standards set by management.
- Prepare restaurant, bar, and other food and beverage service areas before and after service.
- Take part in all required training sessions.
- Maintain a positive, professional, and friendly manner with guests and team members.
- Follow company cash-handling procedures accurately.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant will bring strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment, and a minimum of 2 years' experience. Because late shifts are part of the role, flexibility with working hours is important. A strong command of English and a neat, professional appearance are also essential.
