Executive/Senior Executive, Cash Operations

Job Overview

This role involves precise and timely handling of cash-related transactions including remittance, fund transfers, money market dealings, foreign exchange, FX derivatives, and structured products. The incumbent must ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and control measures. Responsibilities include updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Service Performance Indicators (SPI) for new products and procedures, transaction processing and authorization, and ensuring all transactions are completed by end-of-day. Additionally, any issues, complaints, or backlogs must be promptly escalated and reported.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle cash transactions along with fixing cash derivatives and structured products.
• Conduct regulatory reporting and reconciliation tasks.
• Implement controls and participate in projects including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements related to cash operations.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for adopting technology, automation, coding, data analytics, or AI to boost operational efficiency and enhance customer experience.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least 2 years’ experience in remittance, foreign exchange, and FX derivatives operations.
• Minimum 1 year experience with cash-related structured products.
• Basic degree in Banking, Finance, Business, or Accountancy, or alternatively, at least two years of operations experience within the financial industry.
• Sound knowledge of MAS626 guidelines, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) protocols, operational risk, and control mechanisms.
• Familiarity with Private Banking product suites and supportive business processes.
• Detail-oriented, precise, reliable work approach.
