Job description
About the Role
The Boys' Brigade in Singapore is looking for a committed and energetic Executive to join its Stakeholder Engagement team. This position focuses on developing and implementing strategies to interact effectively with various stakeholders, including partners, donors, and supporters. The ultimate goal is to strengthen collaborations for smooth operations of the Brigade and expand the donor base to ensure better financial stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with volunteers and act as a secretariat for volunteer committees.
- Ensure that national-level events provide valuable and engaging learning experiences for BB members.
- Prepare and coordinate interviews, media releases, speeches, marketing materials, publications, videos, and other promotional outputs.
- Manage website content and social media updates to maintain engagement and communication.
- Engage stakeholders and partners regarding the initiation of new BB Companies and monitor the overall health of existing companies.
- Support BB volunteers and teachers to ensure smooth operations across BB companies.
- Create recruitment materials and resources for attracting new members and volunteers.
- Oversee the donor management system, manage current donors, and work towards expanding the donor database.
- Plan, organize, and execute fundraising events, campaigns, and related activities.
Qualifications and Skills
- Holder of a Diploma or Degree from a recognized polytechnic or university.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to create short videos and graphic collateral is advantageous.
- Self-motivated yet capable of collaborating well within a team setting to achieve common objectives.
- Willingness to dedicate extra hours, including some evenings and Saturdays, to work alongside volunteers.
- Strong command of English in both writing and speaking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with basic design and communication tools such as Canva and newsletter creation is beneficial.
