Job Overview
The Executive QC&QA role at Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd. focuses on enhancing garment quality assurance and optimizing cost efficiency in warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive cost optimization by minimizing internal garment inspections through improving supplier quality assurance via GCP (Good Control Practices) initiatives.
- Ensure timely and complete resolution of Fabric Rejection Alerts (FRA) to meet committed delivery schedule (BCDS) dates consistently.
- Maintain high standards of garment quality assurance and improve first-time right (RFT) metrics by reducing failure rates in both FRA and Trim Rejection Alerts (TRA).
- Strengthen vendor capabilities and foster collaborative partnerships through Green Channel initiatives and supplier certifications.
- Lead quality enhancement and joint improvement projects in cooperation with suppliers.
- Deliver superior quality products that contribute to decreasing customer returns related to garment quality issues.
- Enhance team capability by providing garment inspection training programs to supplier quality assurance personnel as well as internal and outsourced factory inspection teams.
