Role overview
Cramer is seeking a senior Executive Producer to own the full lifecycle of live, in-person event programs. The role combines strategic planning, creative direction, and hands-on delivery to create polished experiences that meet client goals, stay on budget, and are executed on schedule. The right person will be a strong relationship builder who can partner closely with clients and internal teams, solve complex issues quickly, and guide production work with confidence.
This position requires substantial people leadership and production experience gained in an agency or similar production setting. Travel is part of the job at an estimated 25% to 30%. Local candidates are preferred, though remote applicants may be considered if they can come to the Norwood, MA office once each quarter.
What you'll do
- Work with clients to shape the strategic concept and creative direction for events while staying aligned with brand guidelines and business objectives.
- Help design solutions and project approaches that directly support client goals.
- Set project scope and budget in coordination with Account Management and Operations.
- Manage every production component, including audio/visual, lighting, and staging.
- Direct internal production teams and coordinate outside vendors, agencies, and partners.
- Create staffing plans that match team strengths to client needs and clarify each team member's responsibilities.
- Lead multiple workstreams at once, assigning tasks where needed and keeping all streams aligned to the overall event vision.
- Build and maintain detailed schedules, budgets, and production timelines.
- Serve as the main point of contact for senior clients, leading calls, presenting ideas, and managing expectations.
- Protect the creative direction across all production elements and monitor the quality of work throughout the project.
- Anticipate risks and prepare backup plans.
- Oversee talent and entertainment coordination.
- Run onsite execution, including show flow, rehearsals, and supervision of all workstreams.
- Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation after each job, working with the assigned account team.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of professional experience.
- Background in live event production.
- Proven ability to manage finances and build budgets.
- Strong production capabilities, including client focus, ownership of results, leadership, attention to detail, adaptability, and professional presence.
- Comfort in fast-moving environments and willingness to stay flexible.
- Excellent organizational skills and a sharp eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of SharePoint and O365 is preferred.
- Experience with executive presentation management, event technology, video formats, and video/print production management is considered an added advantage.
Additional information
Travel is required for approximately 25% to 30% of the time.
Remote candidates may be considered, but quarterly onsite presence in Norwood, MA is required.

Compensation
Expected pay range: $115,000 to $150,000.
