Overview

Herbalife International, a global leader in nutrition since 1980, seeks an experienced Events Lead based in Bengaluru to strategically plan and execute both national and international events. These events serve as pivotal moments to foster motivation, recognition, and business growth among the distributor network. The role involves close collaboration with Sales, Training, and Marketing teams to translate event goals into tangible business outcomes.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee high-impact events for distributors, channel partners, dealers, or field forces, including recognition ceremonies, national conventions, incentive travels, and product launches, focusing beyond traditional corporate or agency events.
  • Manage complete event financials including budgeting, negotiating with vendors, tracking ROI, and delivering detailed post-event reports to senior leadership.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders, ensuring alignment with global brand strategies while respecting local market dynamics and distributor leadership.
  • Design, develop, and implement recognition and awards programs featuring clear qualification guidelines and flawless on-stage executions.
  • Address last-minute challenges, ensure compliance and manage risks during multi-location events efficiently without disruption.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven expertise in distributor event strategy and execution.
  • Strong capability in budget management and vendor relations.
  • Experience in designing recognition and awards initiatives.
  • Highly skilled in cross-functional teamwork and stakeholder engagement across borders.
  • Keen understanding of risk management and compliance adherence at events.
  • Demonstrated ability to measure and analyze event impact post-execution.

This leadership role supervises a team of 34 professionals and demands managing logistics for major events including venues, travel arrangements, vendor relationships, audio-visual setups, and branding efforts both domestically and internationally.
