Event Vehicle Driver

About the Role

Step into an exciting role where you help bring the Red Bull brand to life by driving the iconic Event Car across various locations. This position is all about breaking new ground, creating unforgettable experiences, and energizing event activations wherever you go.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a brand ambassador, embodying Red Bull's values and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of its products, projects, and athletes.
• Contribute actively to Red Bull-sponsored events and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Maintain the event vehicle and technical equipment to ensure they remain in excellent condition.
• Be the expert on the vehicle's features, efficiently handling minor technical issues and ensuring optimal event setup and teardown.
• Engage audiences with entertainment such as background music; prior DJ or MC experience is an advantage.
• Act as the main contact for event organizers, managing the brand’s presence and securing all necessary permits and consents.
• Execute all duties with reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail, while promptly reporting activities.
• Plan event activations, scheduling and managing bookings, and share regional insights to enhance the program.

Candidate Profile

• Passionate about Red Bull and its products, able to communicate charismatically and connect with diverse audiences.
• Independent, grounded in integrity, and possessing a flexible schedule including availability for evenings and weekends.
• Interests in marketing, sports, event management, and a technical affinity for vehicles and event technology.
• Holds a valid New Zealand driver’s license with strong skills in driving safely across varying conditions.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and scheduling skills.
• Well-versed in the local event and sports community with a creative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Preferred experience includes event delivery, negotiation, and entertainment roles such as DJ or MC, or a strong willingness to develop these skills.
• Minimum of two years’ relevant work experience demonstrating transferable skills.

Additional Information

• This is a full-time contracting position with a national focus.
• The role requires 50-60% travel, including evenings and weekends, often outside of Auckland.
• You will collaborate closely with both internal teams and external partners.
• There is freedom to undertake personal projects that align with the Red Bull brand.
