Job description
About Monarch
Monarch works with leading physicians in women’s health to create modern, membership-driven practices. The model is designed to support stronger physician-patient relationships, more time in each visit, and care that feels more personalized and continuous.
The company helps doctors move away from high-volume, insurance-based medicine and into a concierge-style approach by providing support across practice transformation, patient engagement, operations, growth, and long-term member experience.
Beyond being an operating platform, Monarch is building a different kind of women’s healthcare model focused on continuity, prevention, depth, and genuine human connection. Physicians often describe it as a movement, and this role helps bring that vision to life through events and experiences that show physicians what Monarch can make possible.
Role Summary
The Event Marketing Manager will lead Monarch’s events as a key physician growth channel while also contributing to brand awareness. This person owns the full event presence, from national conferences and medical society meetings to local activation efforts, and ensures every event is intentional, well-run, and tied to the physician pipeline.
The role also includes building smaller market-level events aimed at generating physician leads and strengthening relationships in priority locations. It sits at the intersection of marketing and sales, with close collaboration across the CEO, Chief Partnership Officer, senior leadership, and the wider sales and marketing teams. The best fit will be highly organized, strategically thoughtful, and comfortable taking full ownership in a fast-paced remote setting.
What Success Looks Like
- Develop an event program that reliably brings in qualified physician leads.
- Deliver experiences that feel aligned with Monarch’s brand and mission.
- Create audience targeting and promotion plans that attract the right physicians.
- Work closely with sales so event leads are handed off smoothly and followed through effectively.
- Handle logistics, vendor coordination, and budgets accurately and with minimal oversight.
- Write clear, persuasive copy that encourages physician interest and action.
- Measure results carefully and use insights to improve future events.
- Show strong ownership, initiative, and a high standard of execution.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the event portfolio
Plan, run, and complete follow-up for Monarch’s event calendar, including national conferences, medical association meetings, field events, and hosted experiences. Oversee budgets, vendors, timelines, and logistics across multiple programs.
Create local market lead-generation events
Design and deliver market-specific events that help Monarch connect with physicians in local areas, such as dinner roundtables, networking gatherings, and other targeted programming that opens opportunities in priority markets.
Shape audience and promotion strategy
Partner with sales and marketing to decide which physicians to target, where to reach them, and which channels to use. Build acquisition plans and direct the creation of invitations, emails, landing pages, and follow-up sequences.
Coordinate with sales
Act as the link between event execution and sales follow-up, making sure leads are captured and the sales team is set up to convert interest into pipeline.
Measure and improve performance
Set event metrics such as attendance, engagement, and lead generation, then use those results to strengthen future programs.
Maintain strong operational execution
Manage the details across several concurrent initiatives so nothing is missed, including shipping, vendor agreements, staffing, on-site delivery, and collateral development.
Required Qualifications
- 4 to 7 years of experience in marketing, with substantial exposure to events, field marketing, or demand generation.
- Proven success driving attendance and pipeline from physicians, professionals, or B2B audiences through events.
- Strong copywriting ability with the skill to produce concise, compelling messaging for a professional audience.
- Experience managing events end to end, including logistics, budgets, and vendor relationships.
- Comfort working independently in a remote, fast-moving environment and owning outcomes without close supervision.
- Ability to collaborate smoothly across sales, marketing, and external partners.
- Willingness and ability to travel about 25% to 30% of the time.
- Interest in improving how women experience healthcare.
Preferred Background
- Prior experience in healthcare.
- Exposure to women’s health, OB/GYN, or concierge/membership medicine.
- Working knowledge of CRM platforms and pipeline tracking.
Why Join Monarch
- Contribute to the future of women’s healthcare alongside respected physicians.
- Own a visible function that has a direct impact on company growth.
- Work closely with senior leadership at a mission-driven organization.
- Join a collaborative, ambitious team with a strong human-centered culture.
- Benefit from competitive compensation, benefits, and performance opportunities.
Additional Information
This role is remote and based in the United States. It requires approximately 25% to 30% travel and reports to the Chief Partnership Officer.
Monarch believes healthcare improves when physicians have enough time, autonomy, and support to provide truly thoughtful care. The company is building the systems, experiences, and relationships needed to make that possible.
