Job description
About the Company
Moomoo is a rapidly expanding wealth-tech and investment platform that serves millions of users across Singapore, Australia, Japan, Canada, and Malaysia. Founded in 2018, the company focuses on making investing more accessible through data-driven tools, timely market insights, and intuitive technology. In Singapore, Moomoo Financial Singapore Pte. Ltd. operates under Monetary Authority of Singapore regulation and is licensed with Licence No. CMS101000. The business also became the first digital brokerage in 2022 to secure all five SGX Group memberships across securities and derivatives markets.
The company’s mission is to democratise investing and help people make informed financial decisions. This role sits at the intersection of finance, content, and experiential marketing, supporting private wealth audiences through events that build trust, spark engagement, and drive measurable business outcomes.
Role Overview
The Event Marketing Manager will lead the full lifecycle of private wealth events, with a strong emphasis on storytelling, content strategy, and campaign integration. Rather than focusing only on logistics, this position calls for a marketer who can shape an event narrative, build anticipation before the event, create a premium live experience, and extend the impact afterwards through content amplification and nurture journeys.
You will work closely with marketing, growth, paid media, sales, wealth advisors, content/brand, and compliance teams to ensure each event aligns with broader go-to-market priorities and supports pipeline generation, client engagement, and brand authority.
Responsibilities
- Set the strategy for private wealth events by defining the yearly calendar, event formats, themes, and audience segmentation approach.
- Build tailored event experiences for HNW and UHNW audiences, including roundtables, investment seminars, private dinners, market outlook sessions, and flagship conferences.
- Connect event themes to the wider brand story, content pillars, and business development objectives.
- Develop event concepts that balance thought leadership with commercial goals such as lead generation, client deepening, and brand positioning.
- Identify sponsorship, partnership, and co-hosting opportunities that increase visibility and reach.
- Own budgeting for events and measure return on investment at both programme and event level.
- Treat each event as a content opportunity from planning through post-event distribution.
- Create strong event narratives, discussion angles, and themes for sophisticated wealth audiences.
- Curate speaker line-ups, panel topics, and discussion structures that demonstrate expertise and thought leadership.
- Produce event assets such as keynote outlines, speaker briefs, moderator scripts, discussion guides, and presentation decks.
- Work with wealth advisors and investment specialists to source timely topics such as market outlook, asset allocation, alternative investments, and succession planning.
- Translate complex financial subject matter into engaging formats that are valuable and easy to follow.
- Ensure every event strengthens the company’s premium positioning and content authority in private wealth.
- Plan and execute multi-channel pre-event campaigns that build interest, increase registrations, and prepare the audience.
- Create pre-event content journeys such as teaser posts, speaker spotlights, topic previews, behind-the-scenes updates, and countdown communications.
- Write event copy for invitations, landing pages, email sequences, social posts, and paid ads.
- Coordinate with paid media on audience targeting, retargeting, and promotional strategy.
- Partner with growth teams on registration nurture and conversion optimisation.
- Collaborate with wealth advisors and relationship managers on targeted outreach and VIP invitations.
- Segment and personalise messaging based on client tier, interest area, and relationship stage.
- Track registration performance and adjust promotion tactics in real time to meet attendance goals.
- Lead event production from start to finish while ensuring a polished, premium experience.
- Handle venue coordination, vendors, logistics, and on-site event delivery.
- Design memorable experiential moments that are worth sharing.
- Ensure all signage, collateral, presentations, and event materials reflect brand standards and premium quality.
- Brief and manage partners, AV teams, photographers, videographers, and live-streaming production teams.
- Work with compliance to make sure event content and communications meet regulatory standards.
- Build a post-event amplification plan that extends impact beyond the live event.
- Repurpose event materials into highlight reels, takeaway articles, quote graphics, audiograms, blog posts, social carousels, and short-form videos.
- Manage follow-up communications such as thank-you emails, recap content, on-demand access, resource sharing, and next-step calls to action.
- Create post-event nurture journeys that move attendees further along the funnel.
- Distribute event content across owned, earned, and paid channels together with the wider marketing team.
- Develop case studies, testimonials, and social proof assets for future campaigns.
- Deliver post-event reports covering attendance, engagement, content performance, and pipeline contribution.
- Work closely with marketing, paid media, growth, sales, wealth advisors, brand, and compliance to ensure event activity is fully integrated.
- Track core event KPIs including registrations, attendance rate, engagement, qualified leads, MQL-to-SQL movement, event-sourced pipeline, and overall ROI.
- Collect attendee feedback through surveys, NPS, and qualitative inputs to improve future events.
- Measure amplification outcomes such as reach, engagement, downloads, and attributed pipeline.
- Use performance data to shape future event strategy, topic prioritisation, format selection, and budget allocation.
- Benchmark results against industry and competitor events.
- Follow the attendee journey from registration through to conversion or client acquisition.
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of experience in event marketing, preferably with HNW/UHNW or premium audiences in financial services, private wealth, private banking, or asset management.
- A content-first approach to events, with the ability to think beyond logistics and into story development and amplification.
- Proven experience running multiple event formats such as roundtables, seminars, conferences, virtual events, and hybrid experiences.
- Strong understanding of the private wealth sector, including audience segments, investment themes, and market dynamics.
- Experience planning and running pre-event and post-event campaigns across several channels.
- Strong writing and editorial ability for event narratives, campaign copy, and content assets.
- Natural storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex financial topics into engaging event themes.
- Experience designing speaker programmes, discussion structures, and premium event collateral.
- A strong sense of visual quality and premium brand presentation.
- Ability to work with paid media, growth, and marketing teams on integrated campaign execution.
- Understanding of multi-channel amplification across organic, paid, email, and social channels.
- Familiarity with marketing automation, CRM platforms, and lead nurture workflows.
- Knowledge of paid media metrics and how events support demand generation.
- Excellent organisation and the ability to handle several events and workstreams at once.
- Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills.
- Budget management experience with a focus on optimising spend.
- Calm, detail-oriented, and capable of performing in high-pressure, client-facing settings.
- Genuine interest in financial markets, investing, and wealth management.
- Professional discretion and an understanding of confidentiality in private wealth.
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with senior executives, advisors, and clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
- Experience in luxury, premium, or ultra-high-net-worth brand environments preferred.
- Awareness of regulatory requirements for financial services event communications and marketing materials preferred.
- Experience with event technology platforms for registration, engagement, and virtual or hybrid production preferred.
- Understanding of account-based marketing principles and how events support targeted strategies preferred.
- Video production or multimedia content creation experience preferred.
