Role overview
A national law firm is looking to add an Events Manager to its midtown Manhattan office in New York City. The role calls for a creative, highly organized professional who brings strong hospitality instincts and hands-on event coordination experience in a legal environment.
What you'll do
- Plan and deliver events from start to finish, including venue sourcing, invitation management, RSVP tracking, catering coordination, and vendor communication.
- Oversee conference room setup and confirm that all required technology is in place and working as needed.
- Maintain office food and beverage stock and keep inventory under control.
- Lead the reception team by arranging coverage and making sure service standards are consistently met.
- Monitor event and office-related expenses and stay within approved budgets.
- Support the team with other duties as business needs change.
Experience and qualifications
- At least 5 years of event planning experience within a law firm setting.
- Strong organizational ability and a polished hospitality-focused approach.
Compensation and benefits
The salary for this position is $110,000 to $145,000 per year, depending on experience.
