Team Overview

The Revenue Strategy function is central to Airwallex’s growth ambitions. The group focuses on identifying market opportunities, shaping business direction, contributing to important commercial deals, and working with both internal teams and external partners to support strong and sustainable growth in China. This role partners closely with a range of business functions and commercial leaders.

What You’ll Do

  • Own market research efforts to uncover meaningful opportunities for China-related businesses.
  • Drive and participate in strategic initiatives across teams to define and solve business priorities.
  • Use market understanding and customer insight to help guide commercial decisions.
  • Work with the product team to define, refine, and rank potential new product capabilities.
  • Assist in partnership activities involving financial institutions and ecosystem collaborators.
  • Investigate regulatory requirements and policy developments that affect current and future business models and market-entry plans.

What We’re Looking For

The company is open to a broad range of profiles for this team. Strong candidates typically bring a blend of strategic thinking, commercial judgment, analytical capability, and the confidence to work with senior stakeholders in a fast-moving global environment.

  • Strong interest in startup environments, with a high sense of ownership, resilience under pressure, and the ability to work effectively in a global organization.
  • Experience turning multiple inputs into a structured framework to evaluate business opportunities or solve problems.
  • Proven ability to work with and advise senior executives.
  • Strong data analysis skills, along with familiarity with analytical tools and methods.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to align different stakeholders and move projects forward.
