Evaluation Specialist (Rubrics Expert) - Remote Contract

Overview

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Rubrics Expert for a contract-based remote role. This position requires dedication of 10 to 40 hours per week to design, develop, and refine assessment rubrics and scoring methodologies tailored to specific content areas and learning goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Create scalable and effective scoring rubrics customized for various assessments and content domains.
• Develop and enhance scoring techniques to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with educational objectives.
• Conduct calibration sessions with assessors and subject matter experts to uphold scoring consistency and achieve inter-rater reliability.
• Validate rubrics and assessment tools through data analysis, pilot testing, and ongoing quality assurance procedures.
• Interpret performance data utilizing advanced analytics to identify trends and guide rubric modifications.
• Formulate clear and practical feedback approaches based on rubric outcomes to promote learner development.
• Work closely with instructional designers, educators, and stakeholders to advance assessment quality and effectiveness.
