Job description
Role overview
Xiaomi Technology is hiring a Europe-focused fleet planning and supply allocation manager based in Munich. This role owns the vehicle allocation flow across markets, sales channels, delivery points, and customer segments, ensuring supply is matched to operational demand and delivery commitments.
Key responsibilities
- Take end-to-end ownership of vehicle allocation across European markets, channels, delivery sites, and customer groups.
- Coordinate volume allocation decisions with European and China go-to-market leaders, as well as teams handling demand planning, sales, delivery, logistics, and local market operations.
- Set the rules for allocation, including market priority logic, fleet-balancing principles, and standards for inventory usage.
- Ensure vehicle supply is aligned with demand forecasts, production availability, logistics capacity, market priorities, and delivery timelines.
- Track fleet movement and availability across the region, covering units in transit, in stock, assigned, unassigned, blocked, delayed, or waiting for delivery.
- Spot supply shortages, allocation exposure, aged stock, dwell-time issues, and market-specific constraints, then drive corrective actions.
- Develop reporting packs and dashboards that improve visibility into fleet supply, market coverage, inventory aging, and delivery readiness.
- Contribute to improvements in systems and processes related to fleet planning, allocation rules, vehicle visibility, routing decisions, and exception management.
- As the function grows, guide, coach, and develop analysts supporting fleet planning and supply allocation.
Candidate profile
- Background in fleet operations, supply allocation, sales operations, delivery operations, demand planning, logistics planning, or business planning.
- Solid knowledge of supply-demand planning, inventory control, vehicle logistics, or allocation workflows.
- Previous experience in a European HQ, regional setup, or multi-country operating environment is preferred.
- Strong analytical ability with experience handling large data sets, recognizing patterns, and using data to guide decisions.
- Capability to convert complex supply limitations into practical allocation rules, workflows, dashboards, and mitigation plans.
- Excellent stakeholder management across central functions, local markets, senior leaders, and operational teams.
- Experience improving processes, reporting, systems, or broader operational workflows.
- High ownership, strong delivery focus, and comfort working in a rapidly changing environment.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of additional European languages is beneficial.
