About the Role
Ingliston Country Club and Hotel is seeking a full-time Estate/Night Porter to join their team during a dynamic period of business growth. Located on a stunning 90-acre estate near Glasgow Airport, the venue features a boutique hotel, luxury lodges, a restaurant, conference and wedding suites, and an equestrian centre, with plans to launch an RV Park soon.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain strict security by managing and controlling access to the hotel as per established policies and procedures.
- Undertake overnight security duties to ensure the safety and security of the property.
- Promptly report any hazards or unusual incidents to the Estate Manager.
- Support the Events Team by assisting with room setup and other event-related tasks.
- Provide assistance to various teams as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar environment, demonstrate a professional and friendly demeanor, and exhibit excellent communication skills. They must be able to work flexibly, including significant weekend hours, totaling 42 hours per week. Possession of a driving license is advantageous given the estate’s location.
