Join FNB South Africa as an Estate Specialist based in Bloemfontein, Free State. Become a vital part of a passionate team dedicated to managing deceased estate administration in strict accordance with the Administration of Estates Act 66 of 1965 and related legislation. This role demands precision, timeliness, and strong adherence to legal processes within the fiduciary sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently handle the entire administration process of deceased estates in line with statutory requirements.
  • Maintain and manage customer relations, including addressing escalations professionally.
  • Apply analytical problem-solving skills using legal expertise to navigate complexities in estate administration.
  • Possess practical understanding of business entities, estate duty, capital gains, and income tax aspects related to deceased estates.
  • Exhibit strong drafting and communication skills.
  • Comprehend risk and compliance aspects in the fiduciary financial environment and effectively manage associated challenges.
  • Manage relationships with various stakeholders effectively.
  • Have specialized knowledge of managing estates involving farming properties, companies, and close corporations.

Candidate Profile

  • Hold an LLB degree (mandatory).
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) qualification is beneficial.
  • Bring 5 to 8 years of experience handling complex deceased estates or high net worth clients in a fiduciary setting.
  • Experience with business enterprises and farming property administration is an advantage.
  • Demonstrate the ability to perform under pressure and meet set financial objectives.
